DIPLOMA ADMISSIONS-2012

Applications are invited from candidates seeking admission to diploma courses in the polytechnics located
in the state of Haryana for the session 2012-13
1. The Prospectus –cum Application along with OMR form will be available for sale from 10.03.12 to 16.04.12 (9.00AM to 5.00 PM) for Diploma Engg and for Diploma Leet, Diploma Pharmacy and Diploma Management.
2. BASIS OF ADMISSION: - From inter se merit of Diploma Entrance Test (DET-2012) to be held on
06.05.2012(SUNDAY) from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon for Diploma Engg. admissions and inter se merit of
Diploma(Lateral Entry) Entrance Test(DET(L)-2012)to be held on 13.05.2012 (SUNDAY) from 10.00 AM to 12.00 noon for Diploma (Lateral Entry) admissions. Admission to Diploma pharmacy and from Diploma management will be made on inter se merit of the respective qualifying exam as per criteria mentioned in prospectus.

3. The admissions in Diploma courses will be made through ON-LINE-OFF –Campus web based counseling conducted by HARYANA STATE COUNSELING SOCIETY through NIC.
4. Diploma Prospectus along with Application and OMR form for all Diploma courses can be obtained with effect from 10.03.2012 and duly filled application and OMR forms can be submitted at one of the following Collection Centres by 16.04.2012 (upto 5:00 pm): Govt. polytechnic AMBALA CITY, Kalpana Chawla Govt. Polytechnic for women AMBALA CITY, Govt. Polytechnic for women, FARIDABAD, Govt. polytechnic JAJJAR, Govt. polytechnic MANESAR(GURGAON), Govt. polytechnic NILOKHERI (KARNAL), Govt. polytechnic HISAR, Govt. polytechnic MANDI ADAMPUR (HISAR), Govt. polytechnic NARNAUL, Govt. Polytechnic LOHARU (BHIWANI), C.R. polytechnic ROHTAK, Govt. polytechnic Women SIRSA, Institute of Hotel Mgmt, Nutrition and Catering PANIPAT, Govt. polytechnic SONIPAT, Seth Jai Prakash Polytechnic DAMLA(YAMUNA NAGAR), Govt. polytechnic UTTAWAR (MEWAT), Govt. Polytechnic, Lisana (Rewari). The Diploma Prospectus along with Application and OMR Form can also obtained from HARYANA STATE COUNSELING SOCIETY, BAYS 7-12, SECTOR
-4 PANCHKULA, HARYANA.
5. Prospectus and OMR form will also be available from some private polytechnics (Only for sale, OMR/Application
form has to be submitted only at the collection centre’s mentioned at Sr. no.-4 above)
6. SUBMISSION OF OMR and APPLICATION FORM: The OMR and Application Form neatly and precisely filled,
supported by all relevant documents should be deposited at collection centre (as mentioned in Point No 4
above)and as per station, where candidate has to appear for Entrance Test(refer chapter-6 of Prospectus).
Date of submission: From 10.03.2012 to 16.04.2012.
7. Diploma Prospectus containing application form and OMR form for all Diploma Courses are available at the cost
of Rs.300/-for General Category and 75/-for all reserved category of Haryana state
(SC/BCA/BCB/PH/ESM/FF/HGST/KM/TFW/Girls).
NOTE: PROSPECTUS FOR ALL RESERVED CATAGORIES OF HARYANA WILL ONLY BE PROVIDED ON THE
PRODUCTION OF ATTESTED PHOTOCOPY OF RELEVANT CERTIFICATE.
8. Candidates should purchase the correct category form as there are different series and colour of OMR forms for
General and Reserved category candidates.
9. For detailed Eligibility criteria, Reservation of Seats, Courses offered, Counseling Procedure and other
information related to Diploma Courses, please refer the Diploma Prospectus for the session 2012-13. Eligibility
for Diploma Engg. course is 10th pass with minimum 35 % marks.
10. Admission shall be made as per State Govt. Reservation Policy.

12. Motivational Schemes:
a) The Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) scheme of GOI is being implemented by Directorate of Technical
Education,Haryana from 2009-10 onwards for SC students studying in the Technical Institutes situated in
Haryana.
b) SCSP scheme of Technical Education Department is available to SC students admitted through central
counseling only.
c) The Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) scheme of GOI is being implemented by SC and BC welfare Deptt. ofHaryana for BC students studying in the Technical Institutes situated in Haryana.
d) The Post Matric Scholarship scheme of GOI (GOVT. OF INDIA) is being implemented for institutions in
the ambit of Deptt. of Technical Education, Haryana for minority students.
e) 25% horizontal reservation in seats for admissions to girl candidates in all Technical Institutes in
Haryana.
f) No Tuition fee for girls in Govt. / Govt. Aided Polytechnics.
